Robert S. Hite serves as of counsel to Girvin & Ferlazzo, concentrating in civil and administrative litigation, labor relations, eminent domain, business law and real estate.
Mr. Hite has counseled and represented private and public sector employers, labor organizations and individual employees in labor and employment law matters pending before federal and state courts and administrative agencies, including collective bargaining, contract administration, disciplinary proceedings, civil service and work place safety disputes, and claims of employment discrimination.
In addition to his labor and general civil litigation practice, Mr. Hite has served as special counsel to a number of municipalities throughout New York State in connection with eminent domain land acquisition and claims proceedings. Mr. Hite was appointed by Governors Spitzer and Patterson to the New York State Public Employment Relations Board, where he served as a member from 2007 to 2010.
